Adoption Policy

Step 1 - Email or call us to start talking about Frenchies. We take great care to place our puppies in the best home possible. That means helping you select the right puppy for your lifestyle. Some puppies are very active & playful, others are casual & laid back. It's important to talk about what your expectations are and help you to learn all about your little friend before taking him or her home.

Step 2 - Application. I have a short application for you to fill out. It helps me to learn about you so that I can help you choose your puppy. It also gives us areas to talk about so that your home is safe for your new friend as well as all the information required for AKC registration.

Step 3 - Deposit. I don't put any puppy on hold until I receive an application and a deposit. You can visit us and bring the deposit with you or you can pay your deposit with PayPal. Deposits are good faith money given in advance to declare your intention to complete a purchase and as such are non-refundable however, sometimes they are transferrable. I am holding a specific puppy for you and have turned away other interested people. When your deposit has been received I will email you a receipt and a puppy preparation checklist to get you off to a good start.

Step 4 - Waiting. Our puppies aren't available to go to their new homes until they are at least 9 weeks old. By that time they will been weaned and are eating crunchy kibble; they will have at least 2 of the required vaccinations; they will be preventatively treated for parasites; they will be microchipped for safety. During this time I will keep you updated with your puppy's progress with lots of photos! This is a good time for you to get your home ready for your new arrival with. Be sure to purchase your NuVet Supplements and a quality food as these are requirements for the health guarantee.

Step 5 - Delivery & Final Payment. I require final payment when you pick up your new friend. I will send you home with lots of Frenchie care information, your AKC registration paperwork, health guarantee, and food & supplements to keep your puppy growing strong. If you prefer to have your new puppy delivered to you because of distance or time factors then I am happy to make arrangements with you. You, of course, will cover all additional expenses involved in the delivery of your new puppy. I can drive or fly to meet you and we handle each circumstance individually. I will never ship a puppy as cargo.

Step 6 - Follow-Up. My commitment to you does not end when your puppy goes home. I want to give you as much support as you need over the months and years to enjoy a happy healthy French Bulldog. Feel free to call me with any questions or concerns - no matter how silly you may think they are. We love to talk Frenchie!!
